How to be a fashion designer? Yep. I'm serious!?

So I'm just interested (curious!) I love the design of things, creating new things, to imagine new designs for shirts, pants, and what you have. I'm curious. How can we go on Just casually design, and somehow get it sold in the primary market? And it's a problem if I can draw very well? haha. I look at things like Etro, Vera Bradley, Paul Ropp, and the influence of countries in particular, ethnic (eg, China, Japan, Africa, etc.) So thank you very much:) Anyone else curious about this? What is wrong in emulating other cultures?

As everyone can see or ethnic groups to imitate or mimic other ethnic groups. An example would be acting vice versa African American Southeast Asian Caucasian Black Asian Acting as whitelist continues. My question is: what is wrong with that? Why people like to prove intransigent condemned or ridiculed? Is it a sin to have an open mind and appreciate the culture of others?
